A teacher and a banker walk into a bar…

Well, technically, a soon-to-be teacher and a soon-to-be banker. But a bar, nonetheless. They were college students, the start of many a great love story. (Harry and Sally, anyone?) Actually, Annie would insist the story begins in 2013, when they were high school seniors on spring break in Mexico. Ty would shake his head, arguing that this brief and non-memorable first meeting is not Chapter 1. Annie would dramatically (and endearingly) pull up the photo to prove it (and applaud Kimberly Fontenot's paparazzi skills).

Anyway. I digress... Back to the bar on the U of M campus. It's October 2015. The semester is fresh. Morale is high. Minnesota is showing off its fall colors and not-freezing temps. All signs point to something good in store. Ty's cool, calm, and kind demeanor. Annie's bubbly, shoulda-been-on-Broadway aura. Cue the proverbial fireworks. The two bonded over a shared love for The Office, and it wasn't long before they knew: they were an even more perfect match than Jim and Pam.
